MEMBERSHIP GRADES

 

Membership & Grades

NFED has following grades.

1. Fellow

2. Senior Member

3. Member

4. Associate Member

5. Student Member

 

Membership Grades for Students

The student can take the membership by fulfilling one of the below criteria.

1. Those who passed 10+2 schooling and are enrolled for a degree course either full-time or part-time at accredited educational institutions and carrying at least 30% of a normal full-time in areas of interest to NFED

2. Those successfully completed matriculation / secondary education / SSC / SSLC / 10th and are pursuing diploma / vocational training courses approved by State Directorate of Technical Education / Central Board / Recognized / Accrediting Bodies

3. Those of whom who have successfully complete matriculation/secondary education / SSC / SSLC / 10th class academic program and are studying in an approved higher secondary school or doing a course in a non-formal / vocational education recognized under State Government / Central Government / Accrediting Bodies

4. Those graduates pursuing course in areas of interest in accordance with objective of NFED

5. Student members of any technical or scientific institution / college / varsity in accordance with objective of NFED

 

Associate Membership

The grade of Associate is limited to those working in advancing the theory or application of any Science, Information Technology, Management, Engineering, Technology, Humanities & Social Sciences or other inter / multi disciplines. For admission to this grade the candidate should be graduate of any discipline

 

Member & Senior Membership

Member

The grade of ‘Member' is someone serving in an academic stature / professional grade. The membership has been limited to those who have demonstrated academic / professional competence in the fields of interest to NFED. The eligibility for membership is indicated below:

• A Graduate / Post Graduate serving as a member of NFED for 3 years or have completed 5 years of relevant experience in academic / professional field.

• A Graduate / Post Graduate from a course of study from any accredited educational Institution and should be a member of NFED.

• Membership Committee reserves the right to enroll members on exceptional cases.

 

Senior Member

The grade of ‘Senior Member' is a professional grade limited to those who have made significant academic / professional contribution in the fields of interest to NFED. Proposals for transfer to this grade shall be decided by the membership committee and approved by the Presidium of NFED. The eligibility for membership is indicated below:

• Post Graduate serving as a member of NFED for 5 years or have completed 10 years of relevant experience in any academic / professional field.

• A Post Graduate from a course of study from any accredited educational Institution and should be a member of NFED.

• Non-graduate with experience in any professional field and a member of NFED for 15 years. The Membership Committee may enroll a senior member directly as a Senior Member with the approval of Presidium of NFED. A graduate member of NFED having continuous membership of 10 years with more than 3 years of adequate academic / professional experience will be considered for senior membership

• Membership Committee reserves the right to enroll senior member on exceptional cases.
